Handheld NIR Imaging for the Surgical Field
The IC-Flow™ Imaging System (IC-Flow) is a small, compact and easy-to-use handheld device that visualises and records tissue fluorescence in real time.
As Diagnostic Green’s CE-marked handheld Near-Infrared (NIR) camera system, it captures and displays quality fluorescence images for clinicians – quickly, at the point of care and without disrupting surgical workflow.
IC-Flow gives clinicians a simple, fast way to capture and view fluorescent images across a wide range of indications. Used as an adjunctive method for the visualisation of ICG fluorescent images, the system supports clinical decision-making in:

How it works
IC-Flow’s near-infrared (NIR) camera emits light at approximately 780 nm to excite ICG molecules, then captures the ICG-emitted fluorescence at approximately 830 nm. The captured fluorescent image data displays in real time on the controller and/or a connected monitor. Because IC-Flow uses no ionising radiation and ICG has a very short half-life, surgeons can repeat perfusion assessments as many times as needed throughout a single procedure – reassessing at each critical decision point rather than relying on a single snapshot.
IC-Flow is intended for near-infrared fluorescence imaging in adult and paediatric patients one month of age and older, for use by qualified surgeons, physicians, or healthcare professionals in doctors’ offices and hospitals.
IC-Flow emits near-infrared light to illuminate the surgical field.
ICG molecules absorb the light and fluoresce in response.
The fluorescent image displays instantly on the controller or a connected monitor.
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Small enough to move between rooms, cases and specialities
An intuitive interface with controls on the handheld unit and integrated touchscreen
Clear fluorescence imaging that supports confident, in-the-moment decisions
LED rather than laser light source, no ionising radiation
Designed to bring NIR fluorescence imaging more accessible across a wider range of healthcare settings
TESTIMONIAL
“The IC-Flow Imaging System generates images of fluorescence in order to make a conclusion and a treatment decision.”
